The vegan brownie: Rawnie


Do you love brownies? If so, this one you will adore. Actually this was the first vegan dessert I ever tried, it is the recipe of a guy who I follow since then (for the Hungarian version, click here. It is crunchy, smooth, fulfilling and so raw! It works with various types of nuts and dried fruits, but the best version is the original one, which is the following.


  • 3 c walnuts
  • 3 c dates
  • 1 c cocoa powder
  • 2 handful crushed cashew

Grain the walnuts in a food processor, then add the dates and the cocoa powder. When well combined, stir in the cashews and scoop the dough in a pan lined with baking pan. Place it in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving.
