I hope I am not the only one facing the same conversion problem every day when bumping into new recipes. How many grams? No, use cups, OK, but how to measure properly half cup of something in a coffee mug? Not to mention my freak-out when they dare to mention ounces in a recipe. The measurement converter became one of my closest friend last year, so I finally decided to summarize all the necessary information.

 

First of all, the abbreviations:
