Grilled pork chops with mustard


To get into a good shape for our big trip in May, we started to work out and pay extra attention to what we are eating. This means a lot of salad, grilled meat, who knows, maybe even fish. I have a huge list of ingredients rich in protein so from now on, when writing the shopping list, this will my Diet for Dummies. :) The below delicious meat and salad combination I prepared for dinner, the marinade on the meat made it smooth and very tasty and a salad where veggies are combined with fruit and cheese is always a win.

Ingredients (serves 3):

  • 6 slices pork chops
  • 1/2 c mustard
  • 1/2 c cream
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2  tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

In a bowl mix the mustard with the cream and lemon juice until well combined. Add the spices and grease one side of the meat slices with it. Start baking the saucy part on the coconut oil in a pan on low heat. Spread the rest of the marinade on top of the slices. Bake both sides for 10 minutes on low heat, turning occasionally.

Serve is with salad (Fresh spring salad).
